Useful info in photo-3d?

Jeff expressed disappointment by what he considers low relative
percentage of useful information in photo-3d.

Jeff, before I joined photo-3d, I believed that what I was doing
(taking stereo slides) was the mainstream of advanced amateur stereo
photography. Now, guess what? I still believe it!!! But, I have
learned to recognize the variety of interests in photo-3d. After all,
what is the only thing that we all have in common? It is the computer,
not the stereo camera!!!

What you just called useful information (the tip on how to mount slides
in cardboard using an RBT mount) is not very useful for those who watch
3d movies, do computer 3d, take prints, or mount all their slides in
Albion mounts. Similarly, the discussion on print vs. slide film might
be useful for some but useless for others.

I say, as long as it is 3d-related, it has a place in photo-3d. In
the meanwhile, you have to learn to read faster, and practice pressing
the delete key more often.
