Name: CASCADE STEREOSCOPIC CLUB

Location: Portland, Oregon, USA

Regular meetings: Once a month. At 10 am on the second Saturday of each
month that has an "R" in the name, and at 7:30  pm on the second Tuesday of
each month without the letter "R."=20

Meetings start with "open projector" time and members are encouraged to
bring slides in popular formats. The second part of the meeting is business
and announcements. After a brake, we have demonstrations, show and tell
events, and other participatory activities. Before the meeting and during
the brake there is time for socializing, coffee, etc. We schedule
occasional competitions among members, but not often enough, and even more
rarely we do showings of stereo cards. We have not found yet a practical
method of showing the cards simultaneously to all members. We also
judge/participate once in a while in a national competition or other such
event.=20

Membership fees: One year- $18, Two years- $32, Five years- $75, Lifetime-
$500. Membership is good for the immediate family or sigothers! (A word I
just made up, meaning significant others.)

Number of members: About 60 on the mailing list and about half participate
in the meetings regularly. We have several members from out of state, and
you George are one of them!

The name of our newsletter is "Stereo Views" and our editor is Ron Kriesel.
A web page is in the works=85

The newsletter is part of the regular membership and we don't offer it
separately.

We meet at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, known also as OMSI to
the local and museum community, and we are planning with them a major two
day event to include demonstrations, slide shows, exhibits and other
activities.=20

We conducted recently a major questionnaire survey which we mailed to 150
people. When analyzed, we will publish the statistics.
