Re: I'm Lost...

Well, as near as I can figure, there are two main threads of discussion
that have continued over the past couple of days.

The first reviews monitors, refresh rates, interlaced vs non-interlaced
and all the other gobbledygook that mainly deals with how to display 3D
for LC glasses. There's video boards and "black boxes" that do
interpolation and allow the user to view 3D on his/her computer. An
offshoot of this discussion has been the review of the .JPS format.

The second discussion thread has been reviewing the analglyph presentation
of stereo. Whether the red lens should be over the right eye or the left
eye.

Personally, as long as I can get a pair of glasses to view the event, it
doesn't much matter to me. So, now I need a pair of Wendy's 3D (RR)
glasses for the TV, a pair of Wendy's Chromadepth glasses for the comic
books, a pair of analglyph glasses (RL) for web page viewing, a pair of
prufrich glasses for "that other network" (or the Alaska video), a
prismatic viewer for my 3D Hollywood book, an available light 2x2 viewer
for my "weight shift" 35mm slides, a Realist viewer for my Realist slides
(sure wish it was a Dr. T Red Button), a ViewMagic for my 35mm "dual
disposables" prints and polarizing glasses for my 2x2 dual projector
setup. Whoever said 3D photography was easy! :-) :-)

Hope this brief recap & commentary helps,
Ron
