This last statement should have been both! The 3D live underwater scene
was
indeed viewable both as anaglyp or with LCS-glasses. Update refresh time
(60 sec) looked simultaneously for both modes. However, since I don't
have LCS-glasses yet(!), I was only able to view it stereoscopic by
anaglyp mode.

An unfortunately, the AIS link towards more information about
LCS-glasses/systems was inactive.

Larry,
Thanks for the input. If by compression means or otherwise leave the
choice of LCS-glasses modes less important without degrading quality,
that's good news.
However, I was curious to hear someone with "hands on" experience with
LCS-glasses viewing/evaluation of the MPEG-movies from this site with
regards to previous mentioned problems with stereoscopic MPEG movies.
Any others who might have proper LCS-glasses to go for a try?
