Stereo-Realist Meter?

I've been happily browsing the latest STEREO WORLD which arrived today.
 There is an interesting article on the genesis of the Lionel Linex stereo
camera.  It seems it all began when the President of Lionel received the gift
of a Stereo Realist from his son. However, Dad was not happy with "the
camera's exposure meter and settings..."   Interesting.  I wonder what
super-deluxe model of the Realist included an exposure meter -- unless the
author of the article is referring to the exposure guide decal (sunny 16)
that appeared on the underside of the bakelite lens cap on early models.
