I've found that too but only on older sample mounts. Was there a
change in the type of plastic used to make the mounts? Does old
plastic lose plasticizer and become brittle? I'm curious too.
Sometimes on an old mount I'll lose up to three pins if I open and
close it too many times. 8-( 8-( I run my thumbnail around the
crack to pop them open, like Jamie or Brad. Maybe this is too crude?
Maybe I need to do as Geo. or Alex does?
I saw Jon Golden's posted replacement offer for anyone with a large
number of broken-pin mounts. Sounds golden to me, but I certainly
don't have enough of them to qualify. 8-)
