The question is, when you tilt your head is the stereo image following the
tilt (like when you are viewing in a viewer and you are tilting the viewer
with your head) or is the stereo image staying in place (as in stereo
projection).  In the first case your eyes are staying in alignment with the
image and it is only phycological effects that enter the equation.  In the
second case you have problems (real alignment problems).
