I don't understand this rotation _and_ vertical adjustment. The minute you
rotate each chip individually to correct the phychological tilt that
bothers you, you have introduced vertical misalignment which _cannot_ be
corrected not matter what vertical adjustments you make.
The situation is worse the further away you get from the center (axis of
rotation) and the more depth (horizontal parallax) the scene has.
In practice you will get acceptable resuls if there is not much depth in
the picture and you only do a small rotation and if the subject of interest
is more or less centered in the frame.
