That's one of those "rule of thumb" rules that *generally* make sense, and
are probably advisable for beginners to follow. For example: if you're like
most of us, as a child you were repeatedly warned not to swallow flaming
liquids, stand barefoot in the campfire, jump out of airplanes, attempt
to ride enraged bulls, etc. But as you grew up and developed interests in
fire eating, fire walking, skydiving, rodeos, and so on, that changed to a
recommendation not to attempt these things *unless you know what you're doing.*

Yes, just as well. Better send them to me - I'll see that they're dealt with
properly. :-)

Don't try to exploit the Pulfrich effect in a still-photo slide show by
putting a dark filter over one lens and waving the projector back and forth
at the screen. ;-)

But seriously folks, I often like a tilted stereo view, when tilting serves
a useful purpose in the composition of the photo.
