Re Hale Bopp

If Hale Bopp was ten times further away than Hyakutake why is it I could
never be convinced I found Hyakutake even when we had the total lunar
eclipse which was suposed to make for good viewing .Is it because of Hale
Bopps, size to my mind its the best comet so far, Halley was a wash out a
few years ago and so was Cahoutek (Is that how its spelt).    P.J.Homer
