That's right! William Biller Gruber patented the viewer here in Germany on
February 11th, 1950 (patent-# 826367, class 42h, group 22/02).
And there's another patent by Maurice James Merrick dated October 22nd,
1952 (patent-# 940614, class 42h, group 22/02).
The Talking View-Master was patented by Marvin Irving Glass, Chicago, on
March 16th, 1967 (patent-# 1547412, class 42h, group 22/04).
