stereophotographer Gary Greenspoon:
To all 3-D photographers in the San Fransisco area; a request for help.
For the past year and a half, I have been involved in a personal campaign
to help the beleaguered people of Tibet. Last year I travelled there,

shot 3-D (for the first time in my life), and for the past 8 months have
been working on a 4 projector show. My simple idea of travelling across
Canada has evolved in something far more ambitious! (3-D is only a
small, but important aspect.) The Dalai Lama will be visiting San
Fransisco June 6- 10, and I will try to arrange to see him again (I had
an audience with him in Dharamsala last year), or one of his ministers to
explain and show my idea. I would like to fly down with as little
equipment as possible. If anyone is willing to help, I would need 4
Ektagraphic projectors (I will bring my zoom lenses), two 2 projector
stands, lenticular screen, an Electrosonic ES 88 controller, and two
Electrosonic ES 3004 dissolve units, a Fostex, or Teac 4 channel Cassette
"portastudio", small audio amp, and 2 speakers. Please contact me asap
if you feel you can help with ANY of the mentioned equipment. I know this
may be asking a lot, but if you are willing to help set up and stay for
the viewing, you may get a chance to meet His Holiness, the Dalai Lama.
My E-mail address is: uo703@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx phone (250) 598-9737.
Thank-you, Gary Greenspoon
