About that Pulfrich.....

I remember seeing Popeye cartoons from the 1930's
that had the same type effects as the 3d Rock
show. Popeye and the Goons were in the far
background and various levels of scenery were
between them and the viewer. Even in 2-D this
looked "almost" 3-D but with Pulfrich glasses
I'm sure it would have worked.

With all that said, I'm still not a great fan of
Pulfrich. If you want great 3-D, you have to see
the Imax 3-D. My daughter and I saw "Four Million
Houseguests" last week in Irvine CA at the Edwards
Cinema. We haven't missed one of the shows they've
had there. If you haven't seen mold in 3-D through
an electron microscope, you haven't seen anything.
