Films are back!

Just got three rolls of film from each camera that I was evaluating:
Realist w/Ektrar lenses, Realist w/Ilex Paragon lenses and Kodak.

There is no way to confuse the rolls because each camera uses different
"witness marks". The Kodak has two notches, the Ektar has the regular
Realist one notch and the Ilex is so old that it has no witness marks.
(Also, I will not confuse the Ektar with my 7p Realist 2.8 because, even
though both have the regular Realist mark, the 7p size is a give-away :))

All films look good at preview. One thing that jumps out is a difference
in exposure. The Ektar is the "darkest" and the Kodak the "lightest"
with about one f-stop between them (I used identical exposure settings in
most similar pictures). As a result, the Ektar pictures look the most
saturated and occassionally in the UE side. Some of the Kodak pictures
look slightly OE. This is not a problem as long as the user knows about it
and it is factored at exposure time, but it will make it difficult for me
to compare the pictures, so we are heading for a new evaluation round.

One thing that bothers me is that the Kodak shows some irregular
overlapping of frames. I thought that this was an exclusive Realist
problem ("characteristic") What's the deal Kodak experts?

Will have more to say when I cut and mount the pairs...
