When I got my Kodak, I shot a roll of Sensia at 50 ASA and it was
definitely overexposed (the same setting looks great on my SLR). And the
frames overlap, but never more than 1mm, which is never a problem with
mounting. I shoot it at ASA100 now and everything looks great! I don't
think it is oil or grease in the mechanism. If I am to trust jamie, my
camera has been cleaned well and calibrated properly. None of the
mechanisms feel sticky. The overlappings occur at regular intervals if I
recall correctly (all of my processed rolls are chopped up at the moment).
This suggests that it is the mechanism design or manufacture that is at
fault. Besides, its really how the images look which counts isn't it? In
this regard, I can't complain.
