John R. gave some interesting insights in the inner working of the
fan motors. It seems to be a common problem, at least in my house.
I have that problem with a Nord projector (takes a while to run up
to speed) and not to mention a handheld blender and room cooling fan.
In the case of the room fan, I just took it apart and gave it some
good old fashion hand scrubbing and cleaning. That seemed to do the
trick but haven't tested it out this summer! Cleaning the handheld
blender didn't help much and was regulated to the basement pending
any new discoveries. Anyways, hope to try some of the tips suggested
on P3D on my Nord and blender. ;-)
Gabriel, with alot of motors that get stuck in the muddd!
