I have to add a comment to the reasons for using 3D. Lots of things have
been offered, though I think the list should be a lot longer. Besides
specific reasons others have brought up, the main reason to plan your next
movie in stereo 3D is that humans are wired for stereo 3D and as such
respond better to it. Any story-teller/entertainer should want the extra
advantage. Yes there are challenges to realizing an effective use, but those
are learning curves not barriers. The biggest challenge has historically
been a reliable easy delivery system. Technology is fixing that problem.
Let's bring on the content!
