>Okay here goes.

>1) Setup the left and right images for parallel
viewing and look through the freeviewer to view the images.
(I am assuming the right eye is used.)
>2) Now turn the freeviewer 90 degrees counter-clockwise,
but still looking through it with the right eye.
>3) Put the left image directly (aprox., not critical) below
    the right image.
>4) Adjust mirror (to taste ;-) ) and presto 3D!
or preferably, leave mirror in closed position and just move
    back till it fuses.

Boy, is this photo-3d list great! :-)

All I have to do is build something, sell it to you guys, and sit back
and wait for the long list of what to use it on. I shouldn't bother
making ad copy to tell you how to use it, the list members are much
better at figuring it all out. ;-)

The two additional uses for the Freeviewer's Assistant came from list
members.
1.) Dr. T asked me if it could be used for cross eyed viewing. At the
time I hadn't tried. Within one minute's time I taught myself how to
use it for this.

2.) Now Gabriel describes using it for over/under viewing. I initially
considered this early in prototyping but didn't pursue it. I figured
there had to be a limit to what the device would do. With Gabriel's
instructions it works great. I'm genuinely suprised. :-)

The mirror adjustment that Gabriel mentions now becomes an up/down
fusing motion rather than the usual side to side adjustment.

My new slogan: "I just make the viewer's; Photo-3D makes them work
better".
