stereo window

>From my experience, only the change in interocular distance between the
*taking* lenses changes the perceived *object* size in the viewed stereo
pair.

Using a viewer (rather than a projector), shifting the mask effects only
the relative placement of the image (in depth) related to the frame.

Using a projector, the mask shift effects the placement of the frame (in
depth) when the convergence on the screen remains fixed.

Personally, I like the IMAX principle: forget about the stereo window
because, FAPP, it's outside the field of vision.
