In Defense of George:

You don't know whether he was authorized or not! Not good to assume... 

I have often worked with the "official" photographer (with the wedding
couple's blessing), making sure I don't get in his way, waiting until his
shots are finished. The couple are universally overwhelmed with the stereo
images that are a gift (usually ViewMaster) and friends and family are
amazed by these unusual, "you are there" images for years to come- while
run-of -the mill 2D shots can often sit in their albums collecting dust...

Be considerate, but TAKE THOSE STEREOS!

(A Realist in Dr T's hands ain't the same as the average point and shooter
or disposable camera type! I'm almost shocked at your discouraging him from
stereo)
