I am demonstrating high quality stereoscopic digital TV at NSA'97. The
system uses a DVD (Digital Video Disk) player, and the Neotek
sync-doubling system with LCS glasses. See
http://www.skypoint.com/~catalyst/stereoscopic.html#entertainment
This year I am offering a low cost entry system (VR-Vision) specifically
configured for amateur stereo enthusiasts that is = (one-half) the price
of last years educational package (KnowledgeVision), but uses exactly
the same high quality display technology that is designed for
stress-less, continuous viewing. Many attendees were very impressed by
what they saw last year, but were put off by the high price.
Also, if you are interested in scanning some of your Realist mounted
slides, I will have equipment ON-SITE at the trade show to perform the
service while you are at the conference. Individuals who are interested
in taking the digital images back with them should consider bringing
their own floppies or ZIP disks. I will provide media there also, but
it is less expensive for you to bring your own. Scanning is performed
at 2700dpi and 36-bits per pixel. see
http://home.earthlink.net/~campfire/gallery/picgall.html
for examples of scans from old slides.
