It all depends on what type of distortion. Believe it or not, I am
one of the few liberal minddded that likes to push the envelope and
try unorthodox things. If you know me, you would know that. Ask some
people on the list! I recently threw a rock at the stereo window! ;-)
If you have been following this list you will see that I am all for
trying unconventional ways of doing things such as freezing motion,
not all in focus, non-ortho, and whatever else I forgot. But as
Greg W. just posted in his concise post, there are rules and
conventions. This is my point also. There are distortions and then
there are D|s-TortiO|\|s!
Now in Kenneth Luker's post he mentions about breaking the rules and
the old guard. I know this is not being refered to any one specific
individual but would like to clarify, before anybody thinks I come
from that school. (It's kinda ironic defending the old guard cause I
am completely opposite!) I have tried and adapted traditional methods,
in new and novel ways, and like to experiment with all forms of 3D
expression, be it computers, slides, prints, whatever.
Jack of all trades, master of nothing. ;-)
Gabriel, striving for reality and also what reality can't provide.
