Thanks lots to all for the various suggestions re. the 'no-tripod'
shooting.  I'm thinking of getting to Birmingham, Al. for their
presentation of the 'Treasures of the Smithsonian' exhibit, where tripods
are not allowed, but the subject matter is, fortunately, static.

A local university had mounted an exhibition of the sacred art of Tibet and
they let me use a tripod, if I bought the program book.  Since it was for a
cause I could get behind, I happily obliged.  Can't count on that happening
everywhere tho.
