Re: Bruce Rosenberger asks how close can his newly acquired Stereo
Duplex focus with the aid of auxillary closeup lenses? I don't know
a thing about this camera, but I also don't know why the make of the
camera would matter. If the camera has adjustable focus, or you know
to what distance the focus is set, the following information for a +3
auxialliary close up lens should tell you what you need to know.
(Chart as published by Kodak with their Series V +3 lens.)
Camera Focus Subject to
Scale Setting Lens Distance
(in Feet) (in Inches)
-------------- -------------
Inf 13
50 12-7/8
25 12-1/2
15 12-1/4
10 11-7/8
8 11-1/2
5 10-3/4
3-1/2 10
I am sure John B could (already has??) give us the formula to determine
the correct lens-to-subject distance for any given focus scale setting
and diopter adjustment value. You'll have to consider whether you
can get a usable stereo pair of such a close subject when using a
camera with a normal stereo base.

The make of the camera would seem somewhat important for this question;
we need to know what size auxiliary lens you are looking for.
I'll leave the other two questions for the camera surgeons and
their customers to address.
Hope this helps some.
