I've been mailing my Kodachrome directly to Kodalux in Dallas for a
few years now, and have always been satisfied with the results, both
for processing and for mounting. For a while, I was mailing the film
in my own padded envelopes, and enclosing a check for $12-something.
Lately, I've been using Kodalux mailers from B&H ($4-something), and
just enclosing a check for another $4-something. Both ways seem to
work.
The address I had been using (3131 Manor Way, Dallas) is not one of
the ones printed on the mailers, but I just used it anyway and it
seems to work. Once I waited about three weeks, and finally called
them. They had no record of the mailer number, and figured it must
have gotten lost in the mail. I was in despair, but the finished,
mounted slides arrived at my house that afternoon.
