Well... it may be 19 pair as it was a 24 exposure roll. I didn't actually
count the number of slides that came back. I was just excited that they
came back and that it took less than 2-3 weeks!

Seems to me when I called, I used whatever 800 number was associated with
Kodalux in the FAQ/Vendor guide. When I asked for the address to send to,
the person on the other end told me to address it to Qualex. I can check
for the number and address and get back with everyone. I'm pretty sure I
have it hanging on my bulletin board.

The developing envelopes at Target ARE for the delux service. I don't
think they offer any other type.

This is the address I was given too when I called them and asked about
stereo slide developing and mounting. And, since 3131 Manor Way isn't too
far from my office, I figured I'd just stop in and drop off my film.
However, Target is much more convenient as it's on the way home, they use
the same lab & I can pay with a credit card :-)

I also agree with George's dissertation on why personally mounting slides
can be better than having them done in-lab, just as I firmly believe that
developing and printing your own photos gives you a greater control over
composition & outcome than having a lab perform the task. I guess it's
all in how much you want to put into it. At this point, I don't have the
time and materials to mount my own slides. Besides, my son (3.5 yrs)
wants to "help daddy" on projects like that. And, in another year or two,
I'll pick up some slide mounts and let him help out. Until then though,
both of us can enjoy the slides we've already taken all mounted and ready
for viewing!

Now, if I could just find an inexpensive projector for Realist format :-0!

Ron

P.S. Yes George, I do know where to get a Red Button viewer and I would go
nowhere else than Dr T's warehouse of 3D goodies! Unfortunately at this
point that Disney vacation I mentioned earlier seems to have drained any
discretionary funds I may have had for such purchases!
