How can I align my cheap Binoculars?

I've had these inexpensive Tasco 8 by 50s for many years and don't want
to throw them away. Here I am, an optical engineer, and I can't see
where there is any adjustment! However, I did discover that because of
poor centration of the objectives with respect to the housing, I can
just screw them in or out a bit and the two images fuse better or
worse. However, they're never perfect in the vertical plane which, as
you all know is the most bothersome direction. The prisms don't seem to
have any adjustment or shims to add or remove, as far as I can see-
Any words of wisdom? By the way, you don't need a collimator to align
them. I find that the Moon or a bright star or planet works great.
Just pull the binocs away from your eye and fusion or lack of fusion
(confusion?) is quite obvious.
Re: NSA convention- I was there for a day with a booth displaying my
Stereogram glasses- great response by all - Had a wonderful time-
Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to meet you folks (except for Larry
B).

EE Times, (industry newspaper for engineers and technical management)
Monday June 16, 1997 has an intyeresting article concerning the place
for 3D computing. Suggest reading- there a couple of articles in this issue-
