This list is mainly about 3D photography as achieved by taking
separate left and right eye pictures. The popular View-Master viewer
and reels are an example of this.

Is this what you're interested in doing? If so, there are many
different techniques. Most of them fall into one of these categories:

   1)	Using a single camera, and moving it from side to side to
record separate left and right images.

   2)	Using some device like a mirror/prism attachment or a
lens with colored filters to record stereo images on a single
	frame of film.

   3)	Using two cameras, synchronizing the shutters to record
	left and right images.

   4)	Using a stereo camera, designed and built to record two images
	at once.

There's a wealth of information available about all of these
techniques in the archives of this list, and from list members.
