Bill Davis continues the humorous Realist-Kodak "mud slinging:"

Aha!  So that notoriously unreliable shutter was a design
"feature" to increase the sale of film and processing by
requiring extra exposure bracketing!  ;) Why didn't I figure
that out before now???
