Elliott, thanks for the report...

Time appears to always be a problem. Friday is booked with slide
shows, Saturday and Sunday are closed for those who have a table
at the trade show. Perhaps we can restrict the trade show to one day
with longer hours or start the convention on Thursday.
As an author of books on stereo viewers, I have a suggestion for the
workshop presnenters: If you think that your work can be captured in a
book or video, then go ahead and publish a book or a video (in a small
scale operation) This way you will also help those who cannot attend the
conventions or the workshops.

Exactly. That's what I have in mind.
Also, consider writing articles in Stereo World and other stereo
publications. For example, Ron Beck asked about mounting twin SLR
stereo pictures in View-Master reels. There is a very detailed article
in an older issue of "Stereoscopy" (publication of the International
Stereoscopic Union) which tells you who to slice the reel in half,
mount the images and glue it back together. Note that you can use
Realist format stereo pictures too (anything larger than VM).
