I saw a bit about this on some news show on PBS last night... (Sorry I
am not sure which one...) However, the image was 10-12 feet wide, and
was a grayscale anaglyph. They unrolled it in front of the press in the
briefing room, and all the "visitors" had anaglyph glasses on. It
appeared quite nice, however, I was not able to see the 3D effect.
A bit later, I saw several people wearing white, plastic polarized
glasses like the ones used by Disney World, and the persons wearing
them were viewing a LARGE projected screen, and all were smiling...
Very annoying to see that there IS great Mars 3D to be seen, and not
actually be able to see it! I hope NASA or JPL put something on the web
soon... =)
