I saw a bit about this on some news show on PBS last night... (Sorry I 
am not sure which one...) However, the image was 10-12 feet wide, and 
was a grayscale anaglyph. They unrolled it in front of the press in the 
briefing room, and all the "visitors" had anaglyph glasses on. It 
appeared quite nice, however, I was not able to see the 3D effect. 

A bit later, I saw several people wearing white, plastic polarized 
glasses like the ones used by Disney World, and the persons wearing 
them were viewing a LARGE projected screen, and all were smiling... 

Very annoying to see that there IS great Mars 3D to be seen, and not 
actually be able to see it! I hope NASA or JPL put something on the web 
soon... =)
