It seems I have found a better way than all that rewireing. It works like
this. Loan out the projector (after putting some hours on the bulbs), with
the condition that anything happens while on loan it is up to them--
Whamo-Blamo New Bulbs!! ;-} 
Hey Bill... Need to borrow a projector??
