DrT emphasizes:

Sounds great...in those cases where it is appropriate for their
circumstances.
> I encourage [people who slow down] to reconsider their circumstances
I encourage everyone to periodically evaluate their circumstances,
regardless of whether their stereo photo habits are trending up
or down. :)

I encourage them to establish a sensible listing of their priorities,
and to find time for what is important to them.

I suspect if we guesstimated the number of people in the world who
would be totally unaffected, positively or negatively, by an increase
in stereo photography, we'd come up with at least several billion.
I agree that DrT would be happier, I would be happier, and many of
us on this list would be happier if "more people were taking more
stereo photographs." But I can't make the leap from there to the
conclusion that I should encourage people to do things for the
purpose of making me happier, or that the road to a global utopia
starts with more stereophotography.
I will now try to make the list a happier place by making this
my last mention of this topic. ;)
