  Thanks for the hint.

  Using "View Document Info" on Netscape 3.0 (Mac
version) I was able to save the JPS file to my
hard disk.

  Then I ran JPEGview and using "Import" had
it scan for viewable images....and voila a
cross-eye view JPG of Mars.
