Re: Stereo clubs
Thanks Lawrence for a nice report on the stereo clubs and
congratulations on your new assignment as Vice President of the
Stereo Club of Southern California!!!
I noticed in your list you did not include the following :-):
- Ohio Stereo Photographic Society (30?, Cleveland OH)
After our first meeting for the season, in September, we will know
the exact number of members. With a little arm twisting :-) I hope
to get up to 40-50. Our meetings are the first Tuesday of the month
at 7:30 pm.
I firmly believe that stereo clubs are the cornerstones for promoting
stereo photography at a local/city level and would like to see more
of them starting in various cities of the world. Also, it will be
nice to see more reporting and exchange of ideas here in P3d.
>I now know (from reading
>Dr. T's Ohio Constitution) that *The Vice-President presides at

:-) I've noticed that many clubs assign the duty of "Chairman of
Activities" or "Program Director" to the Vice President, recognizing
the fact that the Vice President has really very little to do.
We decided not to make a connection between official titles and
duties. Our Vice President this year (Jim Motley) is the "Awards
Chairman" which means that he is responsible for organizing club
competitions, but this might change next year.
Regards, George Themelis
