I recommend you carefully examine the prints. Sometimes they get flipped over
so that the back of the print is facing you, and the image side is facing
away - that can seriously impede the 3D effect.

Another problem arises when people try to use an over-under viewer in a
vertical position, looking straight down. In this position, when one print
is placed directly "over" the other, it completely obscures the one
underneath, so you only get a 2D view. For viewing at this angle, you should
place each image on top of the other one, so you can see both of them at the
same time.
