|Since this is the 50th anniversary of the Realist camera 
|it might be interesting to know how many of the early 
|models (i.e. low serial number) are still being used.

|I have four user Realists, the lowest serial number is 
|A1016.  I bought it on 14 Apr 1978 and it has had one 
|complete Zakowski overhaul.  I would think there are many 
|out there with lower serial numbers than this.  What's yours?

There was a fairly extended serial number comparision some time
ago - you might be able to find it in the archives by doing
a keyword search on (perhaps) "serial".
