Tamu?

I guess it's been determined that the "tamu" has nothing to do with Mork? So
what does it stand for?  I checked my 20lb dictionary and there is NOT a
single word in the English language that begins with tamu.  I do believe
that several words in Lithuanian start with tamu, but can't recall them
right now.

I've got a curious nature and wonder if others do too.  What is
tamu-commerce and why is it used?
