OK ! This may be far-fetched but I know a word that begins with TAMU. The TAMURE
(pronounced TA-MOO-RAY) seems to be a traditional dance on HAWAI and other
polynesian islands. Isn't HAWAI US territory ? Conclusion : It's an American
word starting with TAMU ! ;-).
Any Hawaians on this list who can confirm or deny ? :-)
