machine failure

I just wanted to drop a note to the mailing lists that Bobcat is
throwing intermittant memory check warnings. This could either be a
result of the recent domain name change (hard to see how that could be,
though) or an imminent hardware failure (memory and/or disk drives).

Since I'm 1100 miles away currently, I'm not in a position to really
know what's going on (sometimes I've seen these when the room gets
too hot during the summer, for example). But if the lists disappears
for a few days, you'll know why.

If Bobcat does go down, you can reach me at rrwier@xxxxxxxxxxxx, although
this is not a good address to use much since I normally don't
check it very often.
