Keystone home eye trainer

Request for info
I recently got a Keystone viewer that is maroon plastic with a black plastic
rail.  The card holder is missing and the handle is a very odd black thing with
a metal mounting plate.  It seems that there are all sorts of accesory mounting
points on this thing.

Where can I get some info about what the card holder looks like (so I can make
one) and what all the funny mounting points are (so I can make a handle and
because I am wondering)

What problem is this supposed to cure? lazy eye???
