Folding V-M viewer & Reel

Mike Aversa asks about value on a folding Sawyer's V-M viewer.

The folding viewers filled a variety of needs for the Sawyer's company.
Their ease of use made this viewer a natural to put in the back of  books,
especially medical ones or as a commercial give-away.  They were easily
mailed and their production lasted even into the GAF ownership.

Sounds like you have a commercial one - because you describe a box that the
viewer & reel came in.  It would be interesting to know the subject matter
of the reel.  So please provide more specific details on what you actually
have.  I believe that information would interest V-M collectors, especially
commercial reel collectors.  I will try to provide you with all the
information that I can.

Value is very subjective and ever changing, depending on supply and demand
at any given moment. I suggest that you consult the V-M auction and or sales
lists that provided by various V-M dealers. 

So let us know what you have and we'll try to give you some historical
perspective on it.
