I was at the local supermarket a couple of days ago and spotted a 
Rock music magazine (sorry, forget the title) which had a 3-d image pasted
on the cover - I *think* it was a holo, but as plastic was over it, I 
couldn't feel the surface.

The interesting thing is that it was both "multi image" AND a three
dimensional. As you rotated it, you got two different pictures
of band members, but they were also clearly in front of the background
(although looking somewhat card-boardy).
