That's what I feared. However the "other way" is part of the "problem".
The sound being "around us" and the visuals existing through that window
in front of us. Not a great match (albeit probably the best practical way
of doing it).
Now only if we had cheap color projection holograms. The recent anouncements
in the news of mass produceable full-color holograms sounds interesting, but
still probably not cheap for individual users (especially the floating three
lasers used to create the holograms to begin with).
One of these days Fry's will have 'em for $69.... :-)
