|Thanks for that! I remember my old David White 3.5 Realist used to screw up
|an exposure occasionally, and on a recent test roll found indicator window
|showing condition red right after flipping shutter cock. But couldn't figure
|out what in the flow-chart was going wrong.
Another possibility...
One of my Realists had this condition rather severely - the anti-double
would show as soon as I cocked the shutter, probably 75% of
the time. THEN the only way I could
take the picture was to pull out the anti - anti - double pin. This
was regardless of whether the full movement of the cocking lever
was present or not.
It was extremely aggravating - to the point I finally took the top
off the camera and found the lever/cam which controlled this. I bent
it just a TINY bit and fixed the problem (at least so far). It's a
rather small adjustment, so takes a bit of experimenting. I didn't
like that too well (fear of metal fatique breaking).
