This verticle light band sounds quite similiar to what happened to me several
years ago at Greenfield Village. I was shoooting with a TDC Colorist II and
came to the very end of the roll while winding. The shutter cocking cycle did
not complete, and thus caused the light streaks while rewinding. Now with
this camera I always look at the lenses for an open shutter before rewind.
Try it in the camera with a spoiled roll of film and I think that you will
have found your culprit.
