An amusing incident: I picked up a Viewmaster Mark II for 75 Canadian
bucks the other day,(i.e. almost free...) (sadly, no cutter...) and was
cleaning it up when I noticed a bit of fluff visible in one shutter. Off
comes the front of the camera, and with a pair of tweezers I pulled out a
larva of something or other, long dead, wrapped in a silky coccoon. It was
in between the shutter blades. Perhaps this was a danger of making those
VM insect reels. Don't know if the shutter works yet, haven't run film
through it. Perhaps there are more shutter bugs inside...
