Since I've been carrying around the 4-lensed Nishika, the most common question
is "Why does your camera have 4 lenses?" and, believe it or not, "Is that a
panoramic camera?" When I then go on to explain that it is a lenticular camera
and you can make prints that look 3d. The next statement is "Oh, you mean the
kind with those glasses!" I then try to explain lenticular and lined plastic
screens, etc. but something gets lost in the translation so I'm definitely going
to have to carry a sample around!
The reaction's still not as impressive though as the ones I used to get carrying
around pinhole cameras made from cookie tins, oatmeal boxes etc. <big grin>.
