I think I'd be hard-pressed to describe a lenticular stereo without an
example, too.

I've taken to carrying an RBT folding stereo viewer in my camera bag,
along with a mounted slide, so I can just *show* people who can't
comprehend what the results look like from description alone.  While
the $9 RBT viewers are more expensive than the $3 plastic viewers,
they have the advantages of being focusable, providing a generally
brighter image due to a much more translucent diffuser, and folding
nearly flat (a big win in my already-overcrowded camera bag).
