Humans reactions to stereo cameras.
There's another comment that I've had quite a few times.
People tend to think for some reason that my realist is actually
a panoramic camera, this one is quite common, but I can't understand
why. then I tell them that it takes 3D photos, and yes it all clicks
after I tell them "It's like viewmaster, but bigger, and better".
My mother was having skin cancer treatment in a hospital in the city.
and had to have monthly photos taken. the photographer apparently had
some really nice equipment and my Mother told him about my realist.
he said that it was a very long time since he'd seen one as his Dad
used to have one years ago.
He was the only person so far who seemed to know what the camera was
and how it worked.
I took a photo down one of the big roads in Melbourne [Australia]
during a festival called Moomba, the cars were off the road and filled
with people.
When I mounted the slides I noticed that a few people were giving me
curious looks. :)
I think a lot of people are interested but are afraid to ask.
The same thing happens when I walk my Dog, an Alaskan malamute.
an unusual dog for this part of the world. but people will often
come over to pat him and ask questions.
maybe if my realist was fluffy then more people would ask. :)
Wolfie!
